Important Usage Notes

1. System Power and Detection

The iUM2776P connects directly to the motherboard via a PCIe interface. Because most motherboards do not natively support PCIe hot-swap functionality, the module must be powered on during system startup to ensure proper detection.

 

• If the iUM2776P is not powered when the system boots, it may not be recognized by the operating system.

 

2. Hot-Swap Functionality

The system can boot normally without any SSDs installed in the iUM2776P.

 

• M.2 NVMe SSDs can be inserted or removed while the system is running, and will be automatically recognized by the system.

 

• This hot-swappable feature allows convenient maintenance or upgrades without requiring a system shutdown.
